Control standards of FPC line resistance
The typical length of an FPC is within 1m. The standard requirement for customer FPC loop resistance is that: internal circuit resistance ≤1Ω.
Control accuracy of FPC loop resistance
Under the condition of continuous current flow of 1A at an ambient temperature of 25 degrees with a temperature rise of less than 15 degrees,assuming a copper thickness of 35um, a wire width of 0.3mm,
if the wire length is 300mm, the resistance value is 0.513Ω;
for a wire length of 500mm, it is 0.833Ω;
for a wire length of 700mm, it is 1.196Ω;
for a wire length of 1000mm, it is 1.71Ω;
for a wire length of 1200mm, it is 2.051Ω.
(Note: The loop resistance directly affects the wire thickness, wire width, and wire length. In actual production, our company can adjust the wire width and copper thickness according to the customer's resistance requirements to meet the customer's loop resistance specifications.)
Control precision of loop resistance:
Under the FPC scheme, when the copper thickness is 35um,
for wire lengths between 500~700mm,the loop resistance tolerance can be controlled to ≤1Ω;
for wire lengths between 700~1200mm, the loop resistance tolerance can be controlled to ≤2Ω.
