Description

Cell Contacting System, also known as interconnect plate or interconnect board, is primarily composed of signal collection components (such as FPC), plastic structural parts, copper and aluminum busbars.These components are connected into a whole through processes such as hot pressing or riveting to connect the battery cells, measure cell voltages & temperatures. It is mainly designed for mass production.

Plastic carrier,we have

- Plastic Injection Tray, PC+ABS, PC+30GF, etc.

Sensing Part
- Wire Harness with nickel tabs for laser welding,
or wires ultrasonic welding directly
- FPC

Busbar
- Normally AL 1060 'O' Temper for serial connection

Nickel foil to FPC connection strength: Cutting force > 100N, Peeling force > 25N

Nickel foil to copper bar connection strength: Cutting force > 300N, Peeling force > 60N

The production process for CCS

  • 01 Assembling

    Connecting battery cells to form a complete battery module

  • 02 Laser or Ultrasonic Welding

    Using laser or ultrasonic welding techniques to attach nickel tabs to aluminum busbars

  • 03 Dispensing(Optional)

    In certain cases, components may need to be sub-assembled to ensure precision in subsequent steps

  • 04 Inspection

    Visual and functional inspections are conducted on the welded components

  • 05 Testing

    Electrical performance tests, including voltage and temperature measurements,are carried out

  • 06 Packing

    The tested battery modules are packaged in preparation for shipment

  • 07 Shipping Out

    Finally, the products are shipped to customers, completing the entire production process.
